Women in STEAM Initiative
Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) is the future and the future is STEAM. Women in STEAM initiative is an innovative educational organization that seeks to empower, educate and engage girls and young women to take up STEAM for economic development and empowerment.
Women in STEAM initiative provides digital education which is packaged in Computer packages (MS Word, MS Publisher, MS Excel, MS Internet), Coding and Robotics
We provide STEAM and STEM education packaged in the form of mentorship, career guidance for STEM career pathways and setting up STEM clubs in schools to train on Robotics, Coding and Virtual Reality.
We also provide virtual webinars and physical bootcamps for girls to promote STEM education and to create awareness on the different STEM career pathways.
Women in STEAM Initiative therefore provides STEAM education that is specific to the goals of the industry and that which blends technical education with experimental learning and development of soft skills to allow individuals thrive well in the ever-changing digital world.
The initiative is founded with the purpose of enlightening, empowering and mentoring young girls and women and also help them dominate where it was presumed to be a male dominated world. We mentor, encourage, hold talks, sessions and career discussions which will help nurture and birth STEAM minded individuals into the STEAM world.
We target girls in secondary schools, girls who have completed secondary school and girls in colleges and universities.
